    i found this in the trash recently. it says on the underside 'Midgetoy, Rockford, Ill' and there's a serial number. i really like old toys and this is in pretty good condition. i'd like to know anything about it.

      Midgetoy was a competitor of Tootsietoy for many years in the 50-60's. The Midgetoy line are more generic vehicles and not as collectible as the Tootsies. Still good fun toys to collect, I have several in my collection. I met a guy in the early 90 that had bought some of the Midgetoy tooling and was doing some reissues. I think they were the smaller ones.
