I am desperately seeking information on this horse. I done reserch and found out he was first introduced in 1981. My horse has marked on the inside of his hind leg, Mattel, Inc., 1980, and a LARGE #1 under that. I even called Mattel, Inc. and they advised me to contact a collecter. Been unable to do that. I just want to know if he's unique by this mark and worth more than I now have him posted on eBay. I want to stop my auction in time if he is. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. (Do the numbers that are imprinted on such mean something, as to the number of manufacturing, or what?).

With toys like this it's pretty hard to tell what Ken he came with (80-82) The patent would be the same. The number one is more than likely a mold number they all had. You can go to the doll board on ebay and ask them, but I highly doubt that number will make any difference
