These earrings are 1/2" in diameter. They are both stamped with "ZI"for Sterling silver. The wires are stamped "925" and there is some mysterious word in front of it:
PAVA
PAUA
PANA
PASA
???
I don't know - I've looked at it through 3 different loups and tried to take photos of it ,but the photos were just not clear enough. I posted one, anyway. The 925 is barely visible at the right. Will try and get a better photo tomorrow.
Thanks for any help! Bonnie
Very unusual design.
Could that be for Pandora?
I would make a post to ask this question but my camera took a dive! What is the solution for jewelry that has been accidently sprayed with bleach. All silver.
I see you're on and know you know 'bout jewelry...hope you have an answer! Hope I was able to help you too.
My friend at the pawn shop took a squint at the marks on the wires and thought it could be for 9 carat gold. She also said the earrings remind her of purses. :-)
@shareurpassion - these aren't Pandora, as far as I know. I have two Pandora necklaces and the marks are different.
Silver jewelry sprayed with bleach? No worries. Bleache oxidizes the surface, turning it black. You should be able to remove the tarnish with a high quality silver polish. Might take some elbow grease and several applications.
