      I believe this is a "Kutmaster" M3 style civilian sheath knife. Kutmaster was a trademark name owned by Utica Cutlery company. During WWII, Utica made the M3 fighting knife and M4 bayonet for the US Army. After the war they made a bunch of knives for the Civilian market out of left over parts.
