I was fortunate enough to buy a lot of 8 metalware objects recently, on eBay, for a total cost of $47.99! There was a 1930s pewter bowl by Serge Nekrassoff (the main thing I was interested in), a copper tankard and one copper candleholder by Weeda of Tasmania (both very nice), 2 amateur-made copper items, a copper pitcher and a modern-style copper dish, and this copper vase. It is marked on the bottom with a simple symbol and the following: 274/16 . I would love to know who made this vase, and its age. It measures 6 1/4" tall, and is 3 1/8" wide at the top. There are hammer marks around the rim, but not anywhere else. It has a fairly nice patina, and there's a line of verdigris around the inside, showing someone put flowers in it at one time. Any ideas?
