    Crouching Griffin-My late husband attached a note that reads"Accessory Crouching Griffin Signed L F Capwright 1922 Flormad (#594)". It measures 5" wide. I can find nothing on this. Can you help?

      My late husband collected unusual items and this one seems quite exotic. His clues have not led me to what this might have belonged to. Hope someone can help or give me a reference I could go to.

      My guess it's a Chevrolet radiator cap ornament, you know on the old vintage cars where the radiator cap was outside actual hood.

      Could be an unofficial as well, sold after market to fit the Chevrolet. But very similar to Chevy's. The ones seen on Chevrolets from the 30's have two wings but this could be an early one.
