I believe this watch to be circa 1935 - 1940. As for the value, that is really in the eye of the collector. I'm quite sure the diamonds are real, but many of these watches were actually made in RGP (rolled gold plate) or Gold Filled cases. As a collector of ladies vintage wristwatches and an estate jewelry buyer, I can tell you in good faith that I have rarely, if ever, seen any stretchy band made from gold. If the head of the watch is 14K gold and you bought it retail for $40, I consider that to be a good buy. Enjoy!
i want to know how much is worth it please it is solid gold with diamond BULOVA
23 jewels
Hi, Its only worth what someone will pay for it now. The watch you have looks exactly like the one I have and I thought it had 6 diamonds but when the watch guy looked at it there is only 2. They are approx. 1/4 carat more or less. Unless he took it out of the setting he really cant tell. No, with that said I was told my watch was worth 800. but mine has a rope band on it that says FINESSE 1/20 - 14K GF which is Gold filled. I have looked and looked on the internet and they are going from 75 to 200-300 depending on the condition. Mine runs well and is in almost new shape, no scratches on the cyrstal either. Im as confused as you.
No picture at this time but I have a bulova ladies wristwatch. Had the jewelers look at yesterday. Information I recieved is it's 14k, 23 jeweled ,L7 inside of watch which I'm assuming means 1957. It use to have a black rope for a band and my mother had it changed to a spiedel I believe the jewelers called it. The watch does still work and has no scratches and excellent shape. Any help on how much it could be worth without a picture?
I have one similar to this one. I paid around the same amount as yours many years ago. I think since it is vintage and is 14kt gold (excluding the band) the value has gone up.
