    A nice early world map, a hand colored engraving, so beautiful,the images on either side are wonderful, I purchased this piece and a few other engravings a few years ago and forgot I had them until recently.

      Maybe you already know but this is a world map from the Latin atlas Nova Orbis Geographica ac Totius Terrarum Hydrographicaof made by Willem Janszoon Blaeu (1571-1638) and publish between 1630 and 1660 in Amsterdam. In his time one of the most expensive books.
      I Guess this is a later edition.
