Due to its location, a dim but open closet I use for more space and clothes (and my desk,) and due to a very yellow lightbulb/lamp-shade, the pics have undergone a lot of editing, but it shows you the colors and features nonetheless (I first increased details, then canceled out most yellow, then brightened it, then edited colours to re-show, then tweaked clarity again.)
This map is of the Surface Features of the Southern Peninsula of Michigan in 1924, put out by the Department of Conservation.
I show my county, Muskegon, on it. My area, albeit settled (my house also built by this time), was not a township yet, so it is not listed.
John Baird's name is printed on it. Around this time a different John Baird had invented the first television. This Baird must have been amazed at the similarities in names.
The reason this is my favourite map is because I love nature, and this is geology/geography-themed. I have much older maps, from railroads to political boundaries. But this is still my favourite, and it is my largest.
I have a number of bottles from Illinois. Not much on maps, though.

Thanks.
I've never been there. LOL. We go to GRAND Haven. :P
Brunswick, real guitar will never die. :P
