A pair of old lamps I purchased at an auction, and I know nothing about them. The base and neck have brass fixtures, and the white, frosted glass (i think), appears to be hand painted with the gold grape leaves, leading me to think these lamps are Italian. The lamps are 39" tall, and the shades are 18" wide. There are no stamps or markings anywhere on the lamps, and no tags or stickers showing where they came from. Can anyone tell me anything at all about these lamps, their particular style, or if they really are Italian? I've searched everywhere!

I have seen a lot that are from California in the style with similar base, but not italy. A lot of them had lights in the bottom of the lamp also, with a trilight switch, I take it these do not. These look to be in the period of 70's to early 80's.

Thank you bladerunner22, any chance you know the names of any particular stores where I might find similar style lamps? I haven't been able to find anything comparable to these lamps at all, except for a lamp in an Italian restaurant with a similar shade and color combination on the base. What do you call this style of lamp?
