This is a figurine my mother brought me after a trip to England in the mid 1980's. It is about 9" tall and 5" wide at the base. The gold trim is painted on. The ruffle on the dress has a top edging of pale green paint and dots of pale green and gold paint throughout the ruffle. There are no markings on the piece. It is either bone china or bisque and is very well done with fine details. I would like to know the maker so I could do further research.
Not possible to tell you who the maker is as the piece is unmarked. This could have been made at any one of the many ceramic factories dotted around the UK. This may even be an import, made outside the UK. There just isn't any way to know.
