I need help to ID this beer stein...
It has several pictures of German towns... Coblenz, Stolzenfels, Pfatz b. Caub, Godesberg and B. Rheinstein with the main picture being of Ehrenbreitstein with "Neptune" (???) holding a boat oar and large shell...
It is .5L sized, and 10" to the top of the lid...
It has number 1545 on the bottom...
    Thanks...
    Rick...

IDing the manufacturer is highly unlikely, unless there is some hint inside the pewter lid. Sometimes information is stamped right above the hinge.

The number 1545 is the design/mold number.

There is a fortress in Ehrenbreitstein, which is about two hours from me. The fortress is on the east bank of the Rhine. That's what you see pictured. (that's not Neptune) .

My guess is that the stein came from one of the many tourist shops in the local area.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Efesgirl...
When I look on the lid, there are the initials WR on the outside of the lid...

      Welcome.

It might be worth a shot to email the folks at this website and send them a photo of the stein. Or, you can call and ask them if they can help with identification,
