Rec'd from a neighbor who was in the merchant marines around 1925 and brought these back from what he called "The Orient". Supposed Brother and Sister busts of possible royal descent? Would love to know more about them if anyone has knowledge.

Ubud on the island of Bali, Indonesia is an centre of master carving. Your busts were carved there and brought to the US.
In 2005-2006 there was an exhibition at the Nusantara museum at Delft in the Netherlands called "Art Deco op Bali". If you search under the phrase "Art Deco op Bali" you may come across some interesting information about these busts.
And on wiki try this link:
      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balinese_art
If you Google Images "djanger dancers" you'll see some great vintage photos of the characters and costumes Of Bali.
