Hi - These 2 short bronze vases have been in our immediate family for around 50 years, and they apparently came from either India or China in the late 1800's / early 1900's by my great grandfather who worked on a merchant ship back and forth from Asia to Canada . The shortest is 4" tall x 1 7/8" wide , the taller one is 4 1/4" tall x 1 7/8" wide. The shortest one is heaviest at 1/2 lb. , the taller is 6 oz. There are no markings on the bottom, and the carvings are both song birds and what looks like a coat of arms. The insides are rough. Other than that, I have no other info, and was wondering if anyone can help me further identify them as to age and origin and if there is any significance to the markings . Thanks
beautiful!!
