I know nothing about this local, 11.5 inch tankard other than what is printed on it. JABO, the ceramic company which produced it (I have no clue when this tankard was made) closed its doors in 1997. The "Wintraak" is an old dialect name for a small village of about 100 now called the Windraak. In 1840, there were about 26 homes and 145 residents. Dialect names are: "Wèndjraak, Windjraak of Wintjraak". The "Wintraak" is literally minutes from my front door. There is a nature reserve there.

Upon arrival on top of the hill in Windraak , you will find the "miraculous wintraeker Heilbron ."
