The long awaited wood Bissell's Sweeper circa 1899Dating this at 1899 as I found an old add online for one from 1899. Unlike later Bissell sweepers this one has a brass frame on the sides. Also others are marked "Grand Rapids". This one is "Frederick & Nelson" with "Seattle Wash" below.
I am thinking this one predates the more common Grand Rapids version.
This will come in handy with the two fluffy back cats leaving bits of fur here and there.

lol.....and let me guess....one is an electrolux, and another is a Filter Queen....?? or one could also be the mid modern styled COMPACT vacuum.
