Hello and Happy February!! Thought you would like to see this lovely little figurine that I came across in a local thrift store yesterday. It seems to be a perfect model of an old Royal Doulton figurine called "Hazel" HN1797, which was one of L. Harradine's "children" figurines. It is unmarked and the perfectly round little hole in the center of the base seems to indicate that this figurine was attached to something at one time. It is just a bit shorter than the original "Hazel" and possibly made from a mold of the original. Hope you like it!!! Marilyn (Belleville, Ontario, Canada)
She is very pretty. Hand painted. More a facsimile than a reproduction.
The round hole at the bottom is an air vent to keep the figure from cracking in the kiln.
