I thought some of you may enjoy taking a look at this item from my collection.

The obverse of the coin says and shows: IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TRP COS V PP and shows Laureate head right with slight drapery on the left shoulder.

The reverse: SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI and show Mars advancing right with trophy and spear.

Per Roman Imperial Coins (one of the main Roman Coin References)#482 it was minted between 103-111 A.D.

Thank you so much for looking and have a great day!! : )

As much as you may be tempted to clean it, don't. Nice Roman bronze.

I appreciate the suggestion Kerry. What I learned a long time ago with antiques is to leave them the way they are. The same applies to coins it seems. Thanks for enjoying the post. Have a great night....
