Bought this 1962 Manuel Rodriguez as an impulse buy. I do not play guitar nor do I know anything about guitars. I had someone tell me that this is rare but I have no idea.

Anyone know anything about this guitar?

Top notch guitars prized around the world. Looks like an MT model at a quick glance. . Probably should be in a glass case with humidity control based on prices I just googled. I have no guitar skills and have a few guitars of way less quality. There is a devoted website for these guitars and they must be something special. Still making them , although it is now 3rd generation.

there is a 1963 same model on classical vintage guitars .com. Beautiful guitar when looked at closely. Gives some wood specs, etc. no idea on rarity, but I am sure they were not stamped out daily.

Thanks for the info, after looking at the website and seeing what a guitar like this may be worth, I may need to look into preserving this or getting it into the hands of someone who will take care of it properly.
