      Hi, welcome to CW :-)
Right description is Pierrot, not Perriot, and he is playing mandolin :-)
With these keywords I found a same pair:

      Hi and thanks,
I saw them earlier but can't find a maker Just really wanting to find the history on them. There's still a few around but must have been popular back then. No info on the maker. It's really frustrating

The handle at the top is bent down like the lute but some people say it's a mandolin but with both being relatives it's easy to confuse the two. Either way I'm really hoping to learn some history on these two
