I am new here... Hope I am not breaking any rules. I love this perfume bottle and my amateur research says it's a Hoffman. Any advice on finding a replacement for the bottle only? Thanks so much!

      I dug a 1910s Coca-Cola bottle in 4 pieces.
Two years later, thanks to Elmer's Rubber Cement and a Q-tip, it's still held back together (I found all of its pieces in the hillside. All that stuck up was the neck.)

Your bottle (assuming that on the bottom of the bottle, has an acid etched mark that says czech, or Czechoslovakia.) And look for a small butterfly near the underside of the branch behind the woman. That mark will identify it being a Hoffman. All others will be less in value, but still a good bottle. Your color is rare. Unfortunately, finding a replacement, although not impossible, will be rather difficult. There is a group, called the IPBA ( International Perfume Bottle Association ) who has collectors from all over. You may be able to see if a collector may be able to help you. The stopper is actually in wonderful condition, and has a decent value in itself. Welcome to Collectors Weekly!

Can you take a photo of just the stopper and let us see it flipped to the other side. I may be able to see if it's marked.

I love this bottle and it's so sad that it is broken. I didn't look to see where you, but this is not a bottle I would forget so I can keep my eyes open for it.

Untill recently, I didn't realize just how much of this color glass I actually have and I'm pretty sure I have more stashed away.

I wonder if it's at all possible a glass blower could do anything at all for this? I've recently seen a fix it done with a lazer light and a solution, but I don't know about it at all.

      Good luck!

Ha ha ha...I just looked one up and holy cow!!! You know that means if I ever do see one, I'll be snatching it up for myself! lol. wow, it is gorgeous. I'm pretty sure you'll find one. Just stay positive, no matter how long it may take ;)

nice bottle and correct Heinrich Hoffmann. These were made in several sizes but this looks like the smaller size #287 from the catalog.

Thank you so much, everyone! I will look for the butterfly this evening. I could not find it when I looked yesterday but I may not have been looking in the right place. Or maybe it's not authentic... I still love it. But now that I know the potential value, I may not be loving my cat so much (he is responsible for it breaking).

Keep valued items away from pets. They do not know that an item may fall over, or is not to be toyed with, unless gently taught over time. They do not purposely (usually, some cats are devils) break items.
A gloriously carved curio cabinet could do you wonders. It looks good, safely stores items, and can be lit to make items shine.
Or, like me, a room where only myself and a caged lizard enter is where the fragiles typically go (my room. LOL.)

SpiritBear, my cats deliberately break items, LOL! And yes, you are right about curios, I have my most precious items store in one, lovely to look at, and to know they are safe inside. :)

Sir TallCakes, you are a natural wonder, you are! Perfume bottles! :)
