This old HHM safe has been around the family for a while and I'm wondering if anyone might be offer to provide some insight as to it's history, at least as far as approximate date of manufacture and potential value. As you can see, it's seen better times, but it's still functional and being in Nome, Alaska (a famous gold rush town where things are bartered and never thrown away), it might be quite old.
As I say, it functional and from what I understand has a time lock although that is not in use.
The imminent problem is that it's so heavy that it's affecting the building foundation. But, assuming I can figure out how to move it, I don't want to give it way if it's actually quite valuable.
