This is a Moorcroft Burslem jar in orange luster. I think this dates to aroung 1915 but I do not know. I hope there is an expert here that can clear that up. I was only able to find reverence to a mark that says Moorcroft Burslem with no initials or anything else and that it dated to around 1915. Who can clear this up for me as I would love to know more about this jar.

1914-1915 is what I read. The mark is without England. They had to comply with international regulations stating country of origin.

      Moorcroft Burslem (1914 – 1916)
      Moorcroft Burslem England (1916 – 1918)
      Moorcroft Made In England (1918 – 1928)
Moorcroft Made In England with Walter’s initials (1949 – 1986)

Thanks for the info. That makes sense why they used that mark for a short time. I totally forgot about that country of origin regulation.
