My MIL's parents won this, as the prize to accompany their trophy.
It was approx the 1960's
She is interested in more information if anyone has any.

It's a wonderful set. I'm not sure but think it may be Italian made.
Hmm. Thinking again maybe it's Japanese. Australia imported more glass from Japan than anywhere in the 60s and I think that very thick gold and those flowers look more Japanese than Italian.
