I bought this in a yard sale in Montana. I think it's all brass, with 8 separate castings on the top alone. It measures 12" across the top and 23"" tall. It appears to have never been cleaned. Each of the 2 ashtray wells has a swivel top to hide the butts and ashes that have been discarded. I'm not sure if the pipes came with it or not, but they are old. The lighter is stamped "Sterling...weighted" with a hand holding some figures that I can't make out. It has been cleaned and was being used.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who can help identify the piece, the material, and the age (and/or source.)
Thanks Thomas...I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it.
