Here's more pictures of the "Schrafft's Plate" in the U.S. Glass "Massachusetts" pattern.
Schrafft's also branched out into restaurants and motor inns along the Eastern seaboard. Could it be possible that these were used in the restaurants ?
If you remember one episode of "I Love Lucy"--Lucy and Ethel were going for lunch at "Schrafft's". Wiki says that in 1915 they had stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Syracuse and Boston. Whether these were just candy stores or restaurants ???
They also branched out into motor inns (sort of like a Howard Johnsons'). They also had ice cream and/or parlors ? They say the New York New York Casino in Las Vegas ahs a "Schrafft's Ice Cream Parlor.
