Not going to act like I have any knowledge on glass insulators because I don't.
What I do know is that my poor husband has a project coming up ;)
I want these to light up and have been looking at some ideas on pinterest.

Will look great in the front living room with all my old furniture :)
Call that room my antique room......love the old!
I would love an old piece of drift wood for these.
He also gave me a piece of barbed wire Crandals Telegraph Splice barbed wire from the late 1800s that I want to hang that on an old piece of wood on the wall. I will post that later.
Should make a nice light fixture. Also love your kitty cat paperweight. Did you look at my profile picture?, that is my kitty cat. African serval. I love cats too.
These are so pretty, great colors.
On a beautiful woood hanger? :)
Thanks for share melaniej.

your African Serval is just beautiful and so big.
Think it would eat my dog's lol....
my poor dog's are 10lbs and under and the two domestic cat's I have are larger than them....
but it's so adorable because "Charlie" the youngest cat we have loves "Taz and Snickers" the two male Papillon's. They play together all the time and Charlie will get in the dog crate with them and sleep. When the dog's go out Charlie follows.
Love my animal's :)
Where I volunteer has several Servals. All were captured or abandoned.

do they adopt them out? or what?
These ones, not likely-- some animals, yes. I've been there 10 years. They've been there, all but 1, that long at least.
It's an Animal Sanctuary. My work is with the wolves. Others work with the foreign exotics, such as the Servals.

Sounds wonderful to work with wolves and being able to see many exotic animals!
