    Yet still another /35 scale Tamiya model. This one is the Marder Infantry Fighting Vehicle or IFV.
    The real thing has a 20mm cannon for the main gun and a remote control 7.62mm machine gun in the rear. These first came into service in 1971 and were not used in combat until 2009 in Afganastan.
    This is an early version with machine gun ports for the infantry inside the vehicle. These were later covered up with additional armor same as the American Bradly.
    In the last photo it is paired with the 1980s version of the Leopard 2 main battle tank.

      There was a tank close to one of these when I bought the Art glass. Lol the glass was an easier sell to the wife.
