Hi all, I found this in my archives! So I'm wondering if it's possible that it's a Per Lutken Selandia from 1957? I'm not too sure the color is showing as it is in person, but it's got more of an aqua tint to it.
I read that this design was put back into production in 2011, that is if it's authentic. I do believe it's very well made and could possibly be... I'm happy with it either way, but it sure would be nice to know!
Thanks for looking, or drooling! You know I'm joking!!! But thanks ;)
Almost forgot, I got the "Happy Cat" in there too. 13" tall. It's a wine bottle from Germany. Some are mid-century and it seems some are newer. They come in lots of different colors, this one obviously, is cobalt blue. Bought him to re sell, but my mom loved him so.....
Beautiful cobalt blue and it sure does look like one Share...I wonder if it had a label as it doesn't appear signed. I picked one up a few months ago myself.

I am always flummoxed by these bowls - they are gorgeous but I have trouble with IDing them. I am drooling however.
(love the cat too - that's coming from a catdisliker)
Mike, I see that now! Sure looks like it right? Your's is the 'smoked' one...It's pretty amazing. Actually mine sort of flips with the colors of aqua and cobalt. It's pretty interesting. Thanks for the love and comment, appreciate it!
Karen, your comment makes me laugh, cuz it's coming from a , well, I won't say it cuz you already did, lol!
Now I have to go look up the word flummoxed! Ahhh, the things I learn from you!
xoxo
Such rich colour! It's wonderful.
Ps, I have two black cat bottles too
If I'm not much mistaken I saw this bowl in a shop with an IKEA sticker?

Love the color! I saw something one time that was supposed to help distinguish the Selandia bowls from the (very pretty) copies. The person collected Holmegaard and said the Selandia pieces were always round (or nearly so) but never oval shaped. Can't swear it's true but I've never seen an oblong bowl with the signature.
Cpomedx - Thanks for the love and comment. Have you seen all the colors those cats come in? I think it's strange they put wine in them.
Katherine, that is possible. I don't go into ikea so I wouldn't know. Even if it's not Per Lutken, I have to say it's very well made. I don't even see where a sticker might have been, it may have helped...what would have been better is a signature, right?!
Thank you...
swfinluv1, I couldn't really tell from the website but what I did notice was that mine is taller. I don't know if the newer ones they put out are the same size or not. I was really just hoping. And what would really really help is if I knew where it came from!!! lol
Thanks for the love Brunswick, sklo, Trey, Mani, aura, sean, caperkid and onegood find. Much appreciated!

Thanks for the loves.
FYI-This is NOT a Per Lutkin, by the way. Per Lutkins' design was definitely more rounded, I saw one close up and his design is very nice. This one does weigh as much as his though.
