Today I am posting a pink and white vase with mica inclusions. When I bought the vase it was unidentified but I liked it enough not to worry what it might turn out to be.
Then I bought a pair of Welz vases and noticed, upon their arrival, that they had the same form of rigaree at the base, as on the pink vase. I then sent my photos to Craig, he added a further example and sent the resulting photo back to me.
Picture four, courtesy of Craig, shows the same foot on a tri-lobed heart vase in what is perhaps the most well known Welz décor of all.
Height 20 cm./8 inches
To be continued......
Suspense........I can see you are building up to something interesting here!
Surprise.....you may be alone in going beyond the pictures!

This ones a beauty too Peggy. It looks so delicate. I love it's asymmetric rigaree. All three pink striped vases are stunning..I'm jealous too.
Thank you, Fran, you've hit on the things I like about it too :)
Lovely Peggy! I particularly love how the rigaree on top points in opposite directions in pic 3!
Nice to see you back, Rick. That rigaree reminds me of th0se Balinese? dancers who moved their hands from the wrist in a way I've never seen elsewhere.
