This is another lovely piece I found last year. I think it is Mexican and the graphics painted inside are very nice. It appears to have some age to it. Can anyone help on this piece?

Tonala or Tlaquepaque tourist ware (it's often impossible to tell which, since they same type is made in both towns) from the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Probably mid-20th century. Similar pieces are illustrated in "Ceramica, Mexican Pottery of the 20th Century" by Amanda Thompson, and identified as 1940s to 1970s.
CanyonRoad, thank you very much.
From the little I know, this leans slightly more toward Tlaquepaque, as Tonala often uses Flor de Nahual in their decor, and Tlaquepaque is often more pictorial in this style. I'd call this 60s tourist redware, a very pretty and collectible piece! :)
thanks all. I almost passed this one up.
