My Dad was a World War II Marine. After he passed away, I found this pin amongst others. This is the only one I can't identify. It's inly 3/8 of an inch in diameter. Can anyone tell me what it is? Google hasn't shown me anything like it.

    Thanks,

    Ron Rosoff

Nice find Ron sorry for your loss, My dad was also a WWII Vet. Army Air Corp.
Its a lapel pin (pinback) but also has a loop that I've not seen on any other pinback my guess would be that the loop was so it could also be put on a chain and used as a pendant.

Because of the small loop, it was probably originally made as a tie tack.
