This Weller piece has been in the family since new which was 1928. It is the Velva pattern. It is interesting that the leaf design is off set on the front but that is the way this pattern was produced. 10" tall.
I have a similar piece. It has the same color and design and is 7" tall and 3" wide. It is 3" wide, top to bottom, which makes it a different shape from the one shown. The leaf design is also off set. Another difference, the words Weller Pottery take up most of the space on the bottom, unlike the off-set lettering in the vase shown. I have not found a reference to my piece. Does anyone know how to value my piece? Thanks
I have a green one like this, but it is 11-1/2" tall & 7-1/2" wide from handle to handle. Mine also has a top. The leaf design is also off set on front like yours. Looks the same except for color & the top. Weller Pottery takes up most of bottom of vase. I would like to know the value also. I've looked at alot of sites, but have not found much on this pattern.
I also have the green one... I love the clean lines...
