Purchased this table as part of a set. It has a scalloped faux marble glass top with brass galleries and brass mounts. The glass has brass trim around it. It is solid wood with a lower shelf. Legs appear to be cabriolet style and we thought it might be Louis XV. The wood is a dark wood, but not sure what type it is.

    The table is 29" H x 23 1/2" W x 17 3/4" D.

There are no identifying marks of any kind on the table.

Any help further identifying this piece as to age, period, and any other pertinent info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi well, the top is really throwing me off, due to the brass decoration. The style is similar to a turtle top, as they call it. The wood is either cherry or walnut, that is a guess. The front victorian. I believe you are right. Age guess is late 1800's. It is very unique.

I don't see a lot of age on this one-- looks to be a 20th century product "in the style of" an earlier piece.
