    A friend have me this desk. It was owned by a tax accountant years ago in a rural Easy Tennessee county...I wanting to redo this but I'm not sure what no d of desk I have and how it looked original. Please help me identify this.Thanks!!!

      I have a nearly mint desk like this. '50s typewriter desk. I can send you a photo if you'd like.

      Say, I was just telling a friend about a 1939 U.S. Army secretary desk with a fold down center and that's where the typewriter went. I have one I bought at Ft. McCoy, WI at auction in 1991. It's sold walnut, no veneer. I will try to post a picture for you. But 1939 is the date stamped on our desk.
