I just got this very nice piece and trying to do more research on it. It is marked on the bottom:

previous owner said this was owned by his mom for 35 something years which she probably bought from Europe or Mexico as she travels a lot. I hope anybody can share some info about my new treasure ^__^
I have just learned that a tall pot (looking like a tea pot or coffee pot) BUT having a handle that sticks out, is a chocolate pot. I know that you wrote 8 years ago, so maybe you already found out...
