OIL ON CANVAS PORTRAITS BY MILDRED TOMMY AKIN

I was fortunate to acquire both of these portraits paintings about 12 months ago during my travels in New York City's South Bronx.

They are both signed, "ATKIN", as well as written in pen on the back- MILDRED TOMMY ATKIN, PORTRAIT OF NAOMI LORNE.

MILDRED Tommy ATKIN, born 1903 in New York City , was a well known artist.
She known in several art institutions - namely Whitney Museum of American Art, National Academy of Women, and National Association of Women Artist to name a few.

Furthermore, the portraits are of a very famous artist, NAOMI Lorne.
