Old and authentic amber glass handblown tooled top TREADWELL WHISKEY squat Western whiskey bottle, from SAN FRANCISCO (CA). This hard to find old bottle stands 9 3/4" high.

Great Whisky Bottle!
brunswick, Treadwell is my last name. That's why I wanted the bottle. I have only seen four over the past 6 years and have purchased three of them. was outbid on one. My sister has one and one of my bothers has one, this one is mine.

It does not and rarely would ever in America. I can see that from the photo.

scottvez, sorry I really don't know that much about whiskey. My last name is Treadwell. That's why I wanted / purchased. I use it as a water decanter for dinners. chill it in the refrigerator.

My wife's grandfather was the Treadwell who started Treadwell Whiskey in San Francisco, CA, in 1868. He was originally in the hardware business which later became a general merchantile. He went into partnership with Miner in 1904-1905 at 111 Sacramento St., San Francisco, and was on his own until the 1906 earthquake which destroyed his business and all of his old whiskey bottles. My wife had 3 of these whiskey bottles that are brand new and were never used for bottling and her sisters also have a few of these bottles.
