Knives marked by both Tiffany & Joseph Rodgers

I have 5 of these 9-1/8" knives, and I have never seen any others marked exactly as these are. The blade is marked at the top with a V, a Crown, and an R, under that is Joseph Rodgers & Sons, under that is Cutlers To Her Majesty, under that is a mark of a Star and a Maltese Cross. But also on the handle it is marked Tiffany & Co EP. I believe this is silverplate from the 1880's, but that is all of the information I can find on them. If anyone has any information or knowledge on these, I would appreciate finding out more about these pieces.
