Old leather covered bottle with lion

I have this cool old bottle and I can't find any helpful information about its origin on the web. There is a sticker on the bottom (not shown in pics) that reads "Golden Crown" on the top and "E&R Italy" on the bottom part of the sticker. I'm stumped. Is it something rare, and that's why I can't find a picture or any information about it? Thanks for ANY help.
