1938- 1950's. When I picked up the yellow vase at a thrift store, I recognized the form of the vase as the matching 9" Royal Ruby vase that I already had at home. And I have owned some fired-on pieces.
But I can't find any information on this shape in Yellow!
It is very pretty and very little missing paint. So I am thrilled with this one.
Anyone out there have one or seen one like this?

that vase form is Anchor Hocking #E53; it was made in green ruby, Vitrock with décor and fired-on colors.

Thanks TallCakes, I have seen it in Vitrock with décor. Have you seen it in green or yellow. Or do you have a reference book on this?

I found several examples in green, red and Vitrock. So wouldn't doubt that your yellow is also AH, as they did lots of fired-on paint on glass.

Thx TallCakes, I believe this is AH fired on vase. Is there a reference for the green in this form #E53? I have seen sellers refer to this form Hoover? and Vitrock as the color with pattern such as white with red birds.
The yellow may be hard to find or scarce. I have the 7th edition Collectible glassware 40's 50's 60's by Gene and Cathy Florence.

It was Weatherman who penned the name 'Hoover', which would explain why they are listed that way. The folks at ChatAboutDG are good with this type of glass is you want to post at their forum:
