Large Crucifix from thrift store

I picked this beautiful Crucifix up for only $10.00 , Its large and weights 3.50 lbs. It was black so I cleaned it up and I believe it's silver .
There are letters that look like U.C.H. Co but its hard to make out the first letter.
And it's marked 600 .I looked up 600 for silver and that's the number used for egyptian silver and silver used when you gold wash something and it doesn't come up very often.
I love it and feel very lucky to have found it .
Anyone have any information it would be appreciated
