This was my first druggist bottle. It was given to me free as it is very damaged (on the back.)
E. M. Crowell's Pharmacy on 1901 Washington Avenue in the Bronx Borough of N.Y. (my bottle) moved to 1927 Washington Avenue in 1899. In 1895 it was owned by another Crowell.
Because it is Whittal-Tatum & Company on the base, I immediately upon getting it knew it was pre-1901 (In 1900, they changed to Whittal-Tatum Company. In 1901, they began marking there bottles as such, or as W. T. Co.)
This is all I know on the company. It took a while to search through Google Books of old info and such to just find this. Somewhere I posted it on a forum and my own site.
