this cute little cachepot is about 5" wide and 4" tall. i found it at Urban Ore today for $3. i really like copper luster stuff and have been collecting it awhile. i always give them to one of my sisters after a few months because she likes them too and has room to display them. i have three sisters and each of them have enormous and really beautiful homes. two of them have many homes each. meanwhile, i'm living in a 300 sq ft home these days...

Copper lustre with a resist pattern. They are common here in the UK, usually quite old too. Going from a book i read years ago, the silver ones were made as a cheaper version of silver tableware, and often had silver lustre all over them.

thanks valentino! i'm glad you enjoyed sf. i had a sale at my nursery all wknd and we had loads of people on sunday - up to 40 at a time waiting in line! now i'm working on my own design at the oakland museum - 2 different gardens.
