y husband has had this sword hidden. The sword with case was given to him by his Dad who was given the sword by his dad (my husband's grandfather). At first I thought the sword came from Austria or Germany. His grandfather fled Austria at the start of WWI or during WWI and resided in New York before moving into New Jersey. However, when I looked more closely at the sword it has the name Stephen Breen or Preen engraved as well as the following "The C o'Bramworks (or something along those lines), 10 Molden Lane, New York). The sword appears to have been used. The head ovance the sword is a helmet or something like that. Thank you in advance for your help!
Maybe I'll take the sword outside to get some better photos. Thank you for your comment.
by the way - my apologies for my type-o's - laptop keyboards!
Agree, it is Fraternal.
Dates from the very late 19th century to early 20th century.
