Just got this little bottle cannot figure out what it is. Brown amber colored glass. overlay and the top are sterling silver marked Sterling 925. about 3 inches tall I would say. Trying to date it and figure out what it would be used for. have no idea how old it is any help would be appreciated.
Along with the .925 are there any hallmarks? The makers marks on the bottom of the bottle will tell you where the glass was made, but I cannot read it.

Hi Guss,
It's marked "STERLING" & 925 in the corner. The bottom of the glass is marked LT652 and a number 6 below that. Those are only markings I can find.
The bottle is small and has the appearance of a perfume bottle, but it has the screw top, so I have no idea...
This might be within TallCakes expertise, if he sees the thread, he may post what he knows. Beautiful piece of glass! :)
Thank you ketherinescollections.. hopefully he will see it.
TallCakes, any thoughts on this glass?
no ideas really; could it be a bitters bottle?
Maybe one of the bottle peeps would know. Thanks, TallCakes, for taking a look. :)
Thank you all for your input. :) This remains a mystery.
