I have 2 of these chairs bought on ebay and they are sitting nicely in our lounge. I have been searching on the internet as to whether it is an ercol (it looks like it is but...) but so far have not seen anything like it. They are quite old but very sturdy and comfortable to sit on. Will be changing the cushion covers with beige, and strip to reveal the original character of the wood and just varnish it. Can anyone please tell me which era/period it is and if it is indeed Ercol as I suspect it is? Appreciate it very much.
