      Its like a north wind chair, although the face is not usually smiling in that one, looks more fierce. Not likely you will find a name for maker unless the company that made it made more and they were marked. 99% of makers left absolutely on records of their furniture, and also most makers put their own spin on the styles they made. Best you might be able to do is if they made furniture in your area where you found it, then go to the history room of the library.
