Item looks to me to be a teapot of middle eastern origin. Pot is about 24 " tall. The bottom part looks to be a warmer- made up of three parts. Material looks to be a coated tin metal. Parts are soldered together. There are marks on the bottom which appear to be crossed swords. Anyone have any idea of the origin etc?

i would lean more towards very strong coffee -- a thimble full would more than likely knock most of us on our butts -- it is the strongest i have ever had -- our espressos can not compare and then typically it is fortified with sugar --
