This one is for the person who stated they loved the previous Horse Foal Leaping by Jema Holland. Here is his Father. I present Jema Holland Large Mantle Clock numbered 475 for your viewing.

It is a very large piece and carries a magnificent large German wind up Clock mechanism.

To check you have in fact got a Jema Holland Clock a clear giveaway is the Stamped number on the base of each clock. Mind you some were very poorly stamped making it very difficult to confirm mainly the number of the clock. Thankfully some of us had well archived numbers for same making future collectors more easily identify same.

In some instances another fail proof way of identifying a Jema Clock was a Sticker placed ramdomly anywhere on a clock which said Jema Ware, Jema Holland, usually in gold and black colours.
Thanks for looking, feel free to comment or ask questions.
    Cheers

I have a 470 horse mantle clock. Shame I can't upload a picture to the comments!

Hi Koolconvertible, though you cannot upload a picture to comments simply upload your clock to the show and tell add a collection. I will then be able to admire your 470??? I might add if it is in fact the Jema Holland Large Horse Clock then it is actually a 475 clock not 470.. Tricky little devils to see and read sometimes due to poor imprinting of same into mold. cheers hutchy777

It is different to yours. Pretty sure it is 470. I am in australia. I shall post a pic of it. Just need to get a pic of the base. It was given to my wife by her grandmother when she was a child.

Just checked and you are correct. It is a 475. Been moving my collectibles around and catalogueing them, got it confused with a 470 lampshade from another manufacturere. Will send you pics anyway as ours has different colouring clock. Thank you.
